Treatment activity :
During this period, the Establishment treated(1) 21.22 tons of fuel assemblies from a batch of EDF. From all treated assemblies, a total of 396.59 tons have been processed to date this year. Three of the six lines of vitrification of fission products were in service. Since the beginning of the year, 200 canisters have been produced.
The actuality, it is also... June is the month of the road safety The campaign of the road safety launched by the Establishment in March, 2002 peaks with the opening of the " Weeks of the Road safety " which will take place from 5 till 21 June.
From Wednesday, all the staffs (COGEMA and providers) was able to get acquainted with the road risks through conferences and through practical studios given to the Communication Area. End of the second "model campaign" After three months of presence on the Establishment, the second team consisted of fifteen Japanese trainees finished its training of driving and maintenance of the installations.
