News brief

Lesedi took on the AREVA brand at the end of July, two years after joining AREVA. This strategic position crowns the fusion of South African engineering expertise and French expertise in nuclear technology. It also sets off a consolidation process to allow AREVA’s presence in South Africa a more dominant role in the country’s nuclear power production. "Our relationship with AREVA will open many doors to a greater number of future South African nuclear engineers. It will also help to create excellent exchange platforms between South Africa and France, while aiding our country to overcome its recent electric power supply problems. We are very pleased to be part of this dynamic process," explained Lesedi Managing Director of Operations Eric McDonald.

Lesedi works in fields such as project management, design engineering, maintenance and operations, plant engineering, and technical personnel management. It provides solutions for complex turnkey projects and maintenance/operational support.
