Brief
The Jouac mine site in the north of the Haute-Vienne Department employed some 200 people until December 2001. The site had a uranium mine, an ore processing plant and administrative buildings. The mine opened in the late 1970s and ceased production in 2001. To visit the Jouac mine site, click here
