Euriware concludes new facilities management contract with IFP Energies nouvelles, Government research and training organization Public. IFP Energies nouvelles has just turned over its overall information system (IS) facilities management to Euriware. The four-year contract covers 1) the management, operations and security of the IS infrastructure (servers, networks, workstations, etc.) and 2) management and support for business, documentation and administration applications.

IFP Energies nouvelles set up a complex information system in order to be able to develop innovative technologies and materials in the fields of energy, transportation and environment. The system encompasses 3,700 workstations and laboratory workstations, 350 servers including a supercomputer and 200+ virtual servers, and about a hundred applications. Some 2,000 employees at two sites use this IS system on a daily basis.

The call for bids launched by IFP Energies nouvelles covered three goals: improved system management cost control, automation of routine computer operations to improve service quality, and optimization of the change management process.

Euriware was able to establish itself as the best facilities manager to meet these goals based on the criteria defined by IFP Energies nouvelles.
