AREVA’s Management Team relocates to the AREVA Tower

At the beginning of this year more than a hundred AREVA employees, including the members of the Executive Board as well as AREVA’s Management Team, relocated to the AREVA Tower in the Parisian business district of La Défense.

The convergence of the group’s management teams to the same site is an important management decision. By bringing together the various support functions of the operational units, the project aims to improve the performance of the group by facilitating their synergies and easing the flow of information. In the same spirit, the group has begun the project to simplify the legal organisation between the different subsidiaries of AREVA.

The move to La Défense is also part of a financial management approach that will allow the group to save 20 million euros each year from reduced operating costs.

This convergence project take place throughout the year until December 2013, at which point, the 900 employees of the Rue La Fayette site in central Paris will join the AREVA Tower. The AREVA headquarters at La Défense will host more than 3,800 employees.
