Luc Oursel, President and CEO of AREVA, signed yesterday evening in the presence of the French Minister for Productive Recovery Arnaud Montebourg and of Fleur Pellerin, the Delegate Minister for SMEs, Innovation and the Digital Economy the Charte des entreprises à participations publiques en faveur de l’émergence et du développement des PME innovantes [Charter of Public Shareholding Companies in favor of the emergence and development of innovative SMEs].
Drawn up jointly between the State and the companies concerned, this Charter makes an undertaking on the part of the signatories to take an approach which is favorable to innovation in their relations with their suppliers, and with SMEs in particular.
At the end of the signing ceremony, Luc Oursel said: “AREVA is proud to be associated with this industrial policy initiative. It fits perfectly into the process of dialog which we have already embarked upon with our industrial partners in the nuclear and renewables sectors."
