As part of its new partnership with the Quai Branly museum, AREVA Foundation is supporting the first “nomad workshops”, which will be open to the public in Cergy-Pontoise (Ile-de-France region) free of charge from Saturday May 4 to Sunday June 2.
Lead in close collaboration with local authorities, this roaming exhibition is a way of reaching out to new publics, in their daily places of life, outside the museum’s walls, to make them discover the museum collections coming from Africa, Asia, Oceania and Americas, as well as its cultural offer.
On the program: curator presentations of works from the museum’s collections, artistic installations, wall-painting and artistic workshops, outdoor film screenings, and more.
Through this action, AREVA Foundation underscores its commitment to supporting cultural outreach initiatives benefiting members of the public who might not otherwise have access to culture.
