Armed with the success of these activities and their impact in terms of opening the museum to a wider public, AREVA Foundation sought to extend its support by signing a new agreement covering 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school years.
In 2015, AREVA corporate Foundation funded:
- awareness training sessions for social workers, introducing people to Buddhism, to an active approach to understanding the museum’s collections, to dance and the performing arts, and others. This training led to some forty independent guided tours by social workers.
- workshops for families, in particular concerning “Splendeur des Han, essor de l’empire celeste” exhibition.
“Access to culture is fundamental for the disadvantaged: it opens up the world to them, awakens their curiosity, and gives them confidence in their ability to understand and to marvel."
