Since 2003, employees of the AREVA group French entities have been able to participate in two-week solidarity missions. The employees donate their vacation time, which becomes “solidarity time”.
A program based on volunteering
This program enables employees to use their professional and personal skills for an international solidarity mission in a developing country, thus contributing in a concrete way to humanitarian aid without necessarily being a specialist.
Educational patronage
This practical aid, financed by the AREVA Foundation, focus on adult training and learning support: English language, office tools, computer training, project management, help towards creating mini-enterprises, literacy skills…
The objective is two-fold:
- to strengthen the adults’ professional skills to order to provide them with the means of improving their living conditions and those of their families;
- to accompany children in their learning.
