The Georges Besse Foundation was created 25 years ago. Its mission is to help outstanding science students with serious financial difficulties complete their engineering studies.
Each year, the Georges Besse Foundation grants personalized financial assistance to twenty new winners as a function of resources and need. It also renews its aid to previous winners who are
pursuing their engineering studies, after reviewing their status.
Since 1987, more than 500 students have benefited from the Georges Besse Foundation’s aid.
The AREVA Foundation which helps students from modest backgrounds with Georges Besse Foundation since 2012 has decided to renew his support for the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 school years.
“Along with the financial support you bring us is your strong moral support and encouragement, which are passed on and grow along with the Foundation. I am very proud to have been chosen for this award,” says Olivier, prizewinner of the Fondation Georges Besse.
