The CSR report on AREVA's mining activities reports annually on the commitments taken by AREVA Mines as part of its Responsible Mining Operator approach, in line with its continuous improvement efforts as well as good mining industry practice. It presents the Mining activities actions in the social and societal spheres, in the fields of health, safety and the environment, in the management of mine closure, and in business ethics and human rights.
This report has been audited by an independent third party to confirm the conformance of AREVA Mines with the guiding principles of the ICMM including its 10 sustainable development principles. It has also been prepared in accordance with the internationally recognized non-financial reporting guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
Since 2014, this report has been made available online to make it accessible to the greatest number and to facilitate dialogue with the stakeholders of AREVA's mining activities.
